State of Mexico — On Wednesday, November 20, a serious multi-vehicle collision caused major disruption on the Mexico–Querétaro Highway, specifically at kilometer marker 059+000 in the municipality of Huehuetoca, State of Mexico. The incident involved a large trailer that, after failing to stop in time, crashed into several vehicles traveling ahead of it.

According to early reports, the trailer was heading in the north–south direction when, for reasons that are still under investigation, the driver was unable to brake properly and lost the necessary stopping distance.
