Taylor Swift rocks ’87’ necklace supporting Travis Kelce at Super Bowl 2024

Pop icon Taylor Swift made a subtle yet significant statement as she arrived at the Super Bowl 2024.

Perhaps not everyone noticed it at first, but the observant could easily see what was hanging around Taylor’s neck.

The breakout star of this year’s NFL season wasn’t an up-and-coming quarterback — it was pop sensation Taylor Swift, who frequently steals the spotlight by cheering on her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.

And this year’s Super Bowl seems to be just as much about Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce as it is about the football game itself. After a 13-hour flight from Tokyo, Taylor Swift arrived at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium in style for the 2024 Super Bowl on Sunday.
Naturally, headlines and live broadcast images flooded in as the star mad her way into the stadium. Every detail was scrutinized, with Taylor’s enthusiastic fans (Swifties) dissecting everything from the singer’s hair, nails, clothes, and other accessories.

Many were probably curious if Taylor would send a message to her boyfriend, and it’s safe to say she did – albeit subtly.

As reported by Page Six, Taylor Swift proudly displayed her boyfriend’s jersey number with a personalized “87” necklace from Stephanie Gottlieb, priced at $4,250, and a dazzling football clutch by Judith Leiber, costing $4,495, adorned with the same symbolic digits.
Although Swift has not publicly addressed the significance of the necklace, her presence at the game alongside Kelce spoke volumes. Taylor Swift also rocked a bold red Wear by Erin Andrew Chiefs jacket, valued at $130, featuring a prominent “60” on the back as a nod to the team’s founding year.

In addition to donning a crocheted Dion Lee corset top priced at $720, Taylor Swift paired it with crystal-embellished Area jeans valued at $695, featuring shimmering slits running across the thighs.

It’s evident that Taylor has a large following, and her presence at the event has naturally attracted a lot of attention.

For some, it may have felt a bit excessive considering that the Super Bowl typically revolves around the football itself. On the other hand, it’s also part of the charm of such large-scale events – they draw attention from various parts of society and give people something to talk about and discuss long after the game is over.

It’s an interesting dynamic that contributes to making the Super Bowl one of the most talked-about events every year. What are your thoughts? Feel free to share your thoughts and opinions on Facebook!
